Academy Membership Terms & Conditions

Introduction
These Membership Terms & Conditions (the "Agreement") are entered into between You, the member, and London School of Tantra Global Ltd ("LSTG", "We", "Us" or "Our"), a company registered in England and Wales, whose registered office is at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.
This Agreement governs your enrolment in The Academy (the "Membership"), an online membership community offering education, guidance and practice on the subject of Tantra.
Please read this Agreement carefully before purchasing your Membership. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. Definitions and Interpretation
In this Agreement, the following expressions have the following meanings:
Agreement means these Membership Terms & Conditions and any documents referred to in them;
Academy / Membership means the online membership programme provided by LSTG through the Kajabi platform;
Consumer means a person who enters into this Agreement for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside the purposes of any trade, business, craft or profession;
Content means all materials, videos, recordings, practices, community posts, and other resources made available through the Membership;
Data Protection Legislation means all applicable UK data protection and privacy legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018;
Fees means the subscription fees payable by You as set out in Clause 3;
Kajabi means the third-party platform through which the Membership is hosted and delivered;
Minimum Term means the minimum subscription period of twelve (12) months from the date of your enrolment;
Programme Materials means all intellectual property, content, methodologies and materials provided to You as part of the Membership;
Rosa Maxwell means the founder of LSTG and lead facilitator of the Membership;
You / Your means the individual who has subscribed to the Membership.

2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to join the Membership. By purchasing a Membership, You confirm that You meet this age requirement.
2.2 The Membership is available to individuals worldwide. By subscribing, You confirm that Your participation is lawful in your country of residence.
2.3 The Membership is intended for personal use only. It is not available to organisations, companies, or other legal entities.

3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Subscription Options
The Membership is available on a subscription basis, with pricing plans as published on Our website or checkout page at the time of your purchase. All Memberships carry a minimum commitment of 12 months.
Current pricing is displayed at the point of sale and may include annual or monthly payment options. The monthly payment option is not a rolling month-to-month subscription, it is a 12-month commitment billed monthly.
3.2 Promotional and Discounted Pricing
LSTG may from time to time offer promotional, discounted or special pricing for the Membership. Any such offer is made at LSTG’s sole discretion and may be time-limited, subject to availability, or available only to specific individuals or groups.
The price You pay at the time of subscribing is the price that governs your Agreement for the duration of your Minimum Term. Promotional pricing available to others does not entitle existing members to a retrospective reduction in their Fees. Upon renewal after the Minimum Term, the then-current standard or promotional pricing will apply.
3.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, You authorise LSTG to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as applicable).
It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment details are accurate and kept up to date. LSTG cannot be held liable for failed payments due to expired, inaccurate or insufficient payment information, and We are not responsible for any bank fees or charges You may incur.
3.4 Price Changes
LSTG reserves the right to adjust Membership fees from time to time. Any change in fees will not affect You during your current Minimum Term. We will give You at least 30 days' written notice before any price change takes effect upon renewal.
3.5 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, LSTG may suspend your access to the Membership until the outstanding amount is paid in full. Persistent non-payment may result in termination of your Membership in accordance with Clause 11, and any outstanding balance for the remainder of your Minimum Term shall become immediately due and payable.

4. Cooling-Off Period and Refund Policy
4.1 Statutory Cooling-Off Period
If You are a Consumer in the UK or EU, You have a statutory right to a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, during which You may cancel this Agreement and receive a full refund.
This cooling-off period begins on the date your Membership subscription is confirmed.
4.2 Waiver of Cooling-Off Right Upon Immediate Access
The Membership provides immediate access to digital content upon purchase. By completing your purchase and agreeing to these Terms & Conditions at checkout, You expressly request immediate access to the Membership and acknowledge and agree that:
Your 14-day statutory cooling-off right is waived from the moment You access any part of the Membership Content; and
No refund will be due if You subsequently cancel within what would otherwise be the cooling-off period.
Your agreement to these Terms & Conditions at the point of purchase constitutes your express consent to immediate access and your acknowledgement of this waiver.
4.3 Goodwill Refund Window
As a gesture of good faith, and because We genuinely care about your experience, if You have accessed only a minimal amount of Content (fewer than two videos or practices), We may in Our sole discretion offer a goodwill refund within 7 days of your purchase date. To request this, please contact Us at londonschooloftantra@gmail.com.
This goodwill policy does not create any legal right to a refund and is offered at LSTG's discretion only.
4.4 No Other Refunds
Outside of the cooling-off period and goodwill refund window set out above, all payments are non-refundable. The Membership is a digital subscription service with ongoing access to live and pre-recorded content, and refunds are not available once the Minimum Term is underway.

5. Cancellation and Renewal
5.1 Minimum Term Commitment
By subscribing to the Membership, You commit to the full 12-month Minimum Term. Cancellation requests submitted before the end of the Minimum Term will not release You from your payment obligations. The full balance outstanding for the remainder of your Minimum Term will remain due and payable.
5.2 Cancellation After the Minimum Term
After the Minimum Term has been completed, your Membership will automatically renew on a rolling basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan), unless You give written notice of cancellation.
To cancel, You must give Us not less than 30 days' written notice before the end of your then-current billing period, by contacting Us at londonschooloftantra@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period following your notice.
5.3 Access Following Cancellation
Upon cancellation, You will retain access to the Membership until the end of your current paid billing period. No partial refunds are available for unused time within a billing period.
5.4 How to Cancel
To cancel your Membership, please email londonschooloftantra@gmail.com with the subject line "Membership Cancellation - [Your Name]". We will acknowledge your cancellation within 3 business days.

6. Membership Services
6.1 What is Included
The Membership includes access to the following Services:
A private online community hosted on Kajabi;
Pre-recorded video content, embodiment practices and guided experiments;
Live monthly community calls (or access to recordings of those calls);
LSTG will use reasonable efforts to schedule live calls at times that serve the broadest possible membership community. We cannot guarantee that a specific time or day will always be available to You. The specific services available may be updated from time to time, and We will always endeavour to give reasonable advance notice of any material changes.
6.2 Platform Availability
The Membership is hosted on Kajabi. It is your responsibility to ensure that your devices, browser and internet connection are compatible with the Kajabi platform. LSTG is not responsible for any technical issues caused by your device, network, or browser compatibility.
LSTG will endeavour to maintain platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned or emergency maintenance may occasionally affect availability, and We will aim to give advance notice where possible.

7. Community Standards and Guidelines
7.1 Community Commitment
By participating in the Kajabi community, You commit to:
Engaging respectfully, honestly and supportively with all members;
Contributing to a positive, inclusive and growth-orientated environment;
Upholding LSTG's community values at all times;
Refraining from direct sales, solicitation or promotional activity within the community;
Reporting any concerns about community conduct to LSTG promptly.
7.2 Zero-Tolerance Policy
LSTG operates a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, bullying, abusive language, or any conduct that is disrespectful, threatening or harmful. You shall not post or transmit content that:
Is offensive, hateful, obscene or discriminatory on any grounds;
Promotes unlawful activity;
Infringes the privacy, intellectual property or other rights of any person;
Constitutes unsolicited commercial messages or spam;
Claims professional expertise You do not hold.
LSTG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove any content that violates these guidelines, and to suspend or terminate the Membership of any member who breaches them, without refund.
7.3 Not a Confidential Space
While LSTG encourages a warm and trusting environment, the Kajabi community is not a legally confidential space. You are advised to exercise care when sharing personal, sensitive or financial information. LSTG does not verify or endorse the advice or recommendations of other members. You are solely responsible for any actions You take based on content shared within the community.
LSTG is not responsible for any loss, harm or distress arising from your interactions with other members, whether within or outside of the Membership community.

8. Celebrations and Testimonials
8.1 We love celebrating your wins with you. By participating in the Membership community and sharing your experiences, celebrations or results, You acknowledge and agree that LSTG may use these contributions as testimonials in its marketing and promotional materials.
8.2 Any testimonials used will be shared anonymously, unless You have given Us specific written permission to identify You further.
8.3 If You would like a specific post or contribution removed from our marketing materials, please contact Us at londonschooloftantra@gmail.com and We will action your request within 10 business days.
8.4 You will never be pressured to share a testimonial, and your participation in the Membership will not be affected in any way by your choice to share or not to share.

9. Single-User Licence and Access
9.1 The Membership is granted to You as a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial, single-user licence. You may not share your login credentials, account access, or Membership Content with any other person.
9.2 If LSTG has reasonable grounds to believe that your account is being shared or that Membership Content is being distributed to third parties, We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Membership immediately and without refund. Any outstanding balance for the remainder of your Minimum Term will remain payable.
9.3 Unusually high or suspicious usage patterns may be treated as evidence of account sharing, and your account may be suspended pending investigation.

10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All intellectual property rights in the Programme Materials, including but not limited to videos, audio recordings, written content, methodologies, frameworks and live session recordings, shall at all times remain the exclusive property of LSTG (or its licensors, where applicable).
10.2 Your Membership grants You a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Programme Materials for your own personal use only during the period of your active Membership.
10.3 You may not, during or after your Membership:
Copy, download, screenshot, record, reproduce, distribute, share or transmit any Programme Materials or any part of them;
Use Programme Materials in any other course, training, coaching or commercial activity;
Share access to Programme Materials with any third party.
10.4 You may not record any live session without LSTG's express prior written permission.
10.5 Any content You create and share within the Membership community (such as posts, comments and contributions) remains Your property. However, by sharing it within the community, You grant LSTG a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the Membership, including in accordance with Clause 8 (Celebrations and Testimonials).

11. Health, Wellbeing and Contraindications
11.1 The Membership includes embodiment practices, breathwork, movement and other somatic or meditative activities. These are intended for educational and personal development purposes only and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric advice or treatment.
11.2 You should not participate in embodiment practices or breathwork if You have any of the following conditions, without first consulting your healthcare provider:
Recent surgery or medical procedure;
Pregnancy (particularly in relation to breathwork or intense physical practices);
An active infectious disease;
A severe mental health condition, including PTSD or unresolved trauma;
A heart condition or high blood pressure;
Epilepsy; or
Severe anxiety or panic disorder.
11.3 By participating in Membership activities, You confirm that You understand the nature of the practices, that You are in suitable physical and mental health to participate, and that You take full responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing. LSTG and Rosa Maxwell are not acting in the capacity of licensed medical, psychological or psychiatric professionals.
11.4 Due to the nature of Tantra education, You may experience emotional release, the surfacing of past experiences, including trauma, feelings of vulnerability, or things that feel triggering. This is a normal part of the work. You are encouraged to engage at your own pace and to seek appropriate professional support if needed. By participating in Membership activities, You acknowledge that You do so voluntarily and at your own risk.
LSTG strongly encourages You to seek appropriate professional support, such as a therapist or counsellor, alongside your participation in the Membership, particularly if You are working through trauma or significant emotional material.

12. Suspension and Termination
12.1 Termination by LSTG
LSTG reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Membership immediately if You:
Breach any material provision of this Agreement;
Engage in conduct that, in LSTG's reasonable opinion, is harmful to other members, to LSTG, or to Our reputation;
Share your login credentials or distribute Membership Content to third parties;
Fail to pay any Fees due under this Agreement.
In the event of termination for any of the above reasons, no refund shall be due, and any outstanding Fees for the remainder of your Minimum Term shall become immediately payable.
12.2 Effect of Termination
Upon termination of your Membership (whether by You or LSTG), your access to all Membership Content, the Kajabi community, and live sessions will cease immediately (or at the end of your current paid period in the case of voluntary cancellation under Clause 5).

13. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Participation in the Membership does not guarantee any particular outcome, result, level of transformation or personal growth. The Membership is designed to provide education, guidance and community support; however, the results You experience will depend on many factors outside LSTG's control, including your personal circumstances, commitment and engagement.
Any testimonials or success stories shared within the Membership or on LSTG's website represent individual experiences only and are not a guarantee that You will achieve the same or similar results.

14. Liability
14.1 All warranties and representations are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14.2 LSTG will be responsible for any loss or damage You suffer that is a foreseeable result of Our material breach of this Agreement or Our negligence, up to the total amount of Fees paid by You in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14.3 LSTG shall not be liable for:
Any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss;
Any loss or harm arising from your participation in Membership activities, where You have participated voluntarily and at your own risk;
Any technical failures of third-party platforms (including Kajabi or Stripe);
Any interactions between members within or outside the Membership community.
14.4 By joining the Membership, You acknowledge that You participate in all activities voluntarily and at your own risk, and agree to release LSTG and Rosa Maxwell from any claims arising from that participation, to the fullest extent permitted by English law.
14.5 Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits LSTG's liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

15. Health Disclaimer
15.1 LSTG and Rosa Maxwell do not act as, and should not be treated as, medical doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, or any other type of licensed or registered healthcare professional. Nothing in the Membership constitutes medical advice or a clinical service.
15.2 If You are currently receiving treatment from a healthcare professional or taking prescription medication, You should discuss your participation in the Membership with that professional before beginning.

16. Data Protection and Privacy
16.1 LSTG is committed to protecting your personal data. All personal data collected in connection with your Membership will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation and LSTG's Privacy Notice.

16.3 By subscribing to the Membership, You consent to receiving transactional, administrative and service-related communications from LSTG. You may also receive marketing communications, from which You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting Us directly.

17. Email Communications
By creating an account and subscribing to the Membership, You agree to receive email communications from LSTG, including administrative, service-related, and occasional marketing messages. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. Transactional and service emails (such as payment confirmations and community updates) will continue to be sent regardless of your marketing preferences.

18. Events Outside Our Control
LSTG shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement where that failure or delay arises from causes beyond Our reasonable control, including (but not limited to): acts of God, pandemics, civil unrest, governmental restrictions, power failure, internet outages, or actions of third-party platforms. Where possible, We will inform You promptly and endeavour to minimise the impact of any such disruption.

19. Amendments to this Agreement
LSTG may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If We make any change that materially affects your rights or obligations, We will give You at least 30 days' written notice before the change takes effect. If You do not wish to accept the updated terms, You may cancel your Membership in accordance with Clause 5. Your continued use of the Membership after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

20. Assignment
20.1 LSTG may transfer its rights and obligations under this Agreement to a third party (for example, in the event of a business sale or restructure). We will give You reasonable written notice if this occurs, and your rights under this Agreement will not be affected.
20.2 You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement to any other person without Our prior written consent.

21. Dispute Resolution
21.1 If You have a concern or complaint about the Membership, please contact Us in the first instance at londonschooloftantra@gmail.com. We are committed to resolving issues fairly, constructively and promptly, and We ask that You allow Us 30 days to work towards an amicable resolution before taking any further steps.
21.2 If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be referred to the courts of England and Wales in accordance with Clause 22 below.
21.3 As a Consumer, You also have the right to contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau for further guidance on your rights.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
22.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
22.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If You are a Consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, You may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
22.3 For members outside the UK, this Agreement and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, to the extent permitted by the laws of your country of residence.

23. General Provisions
23.1 Severance: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
23.2 Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between You and LSTG in relation to your Membership and supersedes all prior agreements, representations and understandings.
23.3 No Waiver: LSTG's failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement on any occasion shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision on a future occasion.
23.4 Third Party Rights: This Agreement is between You and LSTG only. No third party shall have any rights under this Agreement pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
